President of the Chamber

Pursuant to Article 107 of the of the Audit Act (Official Gazette no. 127/17) President of the Croatian Audit Chamber manages the operations of the Croatian Audit Chamber, represents it and is responsible for the legality of its work.
A person who meets the following conditions can be appointed as the president of the Croatian Audit Chamber:

  1. is recorded in the register of certified auditors
  2. has at least ten years of work experience as an certified auditor
  3. is a citizen of the Republic of Croatia.

The President of the Croatian Audit Chamber is elected by the Assembly for a period of four years and may be re-appointed for one term only.
